I work for an educational technology company in New Zealand and cover parts of North America and Australia. Prior to that, I was a 4th grade teacher, a United States Infantryman, and I worked on a fishing boat in the Pacific Ocean.
I bought a camera in 2010 to photograph my young children and I quickly realized that photographing nature was very important to me (I still love photographing my kids).
I would love to leave something behind to my children. Not only something they can touch, gaze upon, reminisce, criticize, applaud, and hang on their wall, but more importantly, an appreciation of nature. Specifically, the wild places that fall more than a casual effort away.
